“Great! Can you send the source files, the fonts and the stock licences too?”
What they really mean: I assumed everything came in the box.

Subject: Re: Final files and licences
Hi [Name],
Thanks, glad you're happy with it. Here's what's included: final files in [formats].
Source files, font licences and stock licences are separate from the deliverables in our agreement. Fonts and stock images are licensed to me or you directly, and I can pass on the details or buy extended licences at cost. Source files can be released for [fee]. Let me know which you'd like.
Best,
[Your name]
Before you send
- Replace every [bracket] with real details: the client's name, your fee, number of revisions, dates.
- Check it against your quote or contract. The reply is strongest when it points to what you both agreed.
- Match the tone to the relationship. For a long-term client, soften the second paragraph. For a repeat offender, keep it as is.
